We’ve had a few Thunderbird users complaining about not being able to connect to a clients new Exchange 2010 server. Outlook 20xx clients work fine, whether using Outlook Anywhere or IMAP, as do Apple Mail clients.

We’ve recently migrated a client to Exchange 2010 from Exchange 2007. Soon after we moved the Autodiscover role and subdomain to the new server quite a few Outlook users reported issues with Outlook Anywhere when out and about with their laptops.

Sometimes an email can drop in to your inbox but appear to have been sent earlier on in the day, sometimes it can even appear to be from later on in the day, and it can be useful to find the cause (if for no other reason that to be sure your mail servers aren’t grinding along).
